State Minister greeted participants of the conference and delivered a speech. In his speech, Paata Zakareishvili touched upon civil integration of ethnic minorities and underlined the importance of their involvement in ongoing processes in the country.

The meeting was organized by Public Movement "Multinational Georgia" (PMMG) with the financial support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Tbilisi, Georgia. Representatives of both the executive and legislative branches of government participated in the Conference. Conference was also attended by Public Defender of Georgia, Ucha Nanuashvili, the diplomatic corps accredited to Georgia, international and civil society organizations, political parties, and representatives of ethnic communities from various regions of Georgia as well from foreign countries. Participants discussed issues related to integration of ethnic minorities and human rights.
