From the Georgian side representatives of the Office of State Minister of Georgia for Reintegration and the Ministry of Internal Affairs participated in the meeting. At the meeting, Georgian side, along with ongoing issues, focused on illegal process of installing barbed wire fences and the problems, which local population is facing as a result of this process.

Participants also discussed issues related to the security of the local population involved in agricultural-farming works, incidents occurred in June and July, missing people of 2008 August war, and violations carried out by the Russian Aircrafts.

Heated debate took place about de-facto South Ossetian authorities’ new regulations on restriction of movement in a near future.

Next meeting of IPRM will be held in Ergneti on October 18.
