Specifically, the Commission Chairman Davit Narmania, the Minister for Regional Development and Infrastructure and the Co-Chair Paata Zakareishviil, the State Minister for Reintegration met with the communities at about 10 villages today. The Head of Analytical Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Davit Sujishvili, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science Lia Gigauri, the Deputy Minister for Labor, Health and Social Protection Davit Lomidze and the heads of municipalities also participated in the meetings.
The Commission members familiarized the locals with the ongoing and planned projects. Paata Zakareishvili informed the population that the process of gasification of all villages across the Division Line shall be completed within 6 months.
"The population will not pay a single GEL for this and all the expenses will be covered by the state. Before the gasification process is completed, we shall provide you with the supply of woods. Also it is extremely important that the energy-numeric hardware is installed within 6 months instead of the presumed one year", declared Paata Zakareishvili.
Davit Narmania spoke about the issues concerning the provision of water supply and the road rehabilitation.
"We have already made boreholes for the provision of the water supply in two villages; the similar works are currently ongoing in two other villages and we shall cover other villages as well. We are also studying the needs of each village. It is important to carry out as many projects and programmes in the villages adjacent to the Division Line as possible, under the guidance of the Prime Minister. Such works will be more intensified after the elections, as we are limited into our capacities to carry out the new programmes due to the #49 Article of the Electoral Code",
