Our response to the occupation must be economic prosperity, political stability and democratic development. At the same time, we continue to pursue a firmly chosen non-alternative strategic line - to resolve the conflict in an unequivocally peaceful and pragmatic way. That is why our steps are focused on restoring confidence and reconciliation between societies. This is confirmed by our peace initiatives and efforts aimed at deepening the dialogue between the Abkhaz, Ossetian and Georgian communities. We see the need for new visions and approaches and we plan to work even more actively in this direction, so that we can all achieve the main goal - to live in a united, strong, peaceful and European Georgia.
Another clear proof of our commitment to European values is the fact that in a country rich with ethnic and cultural diversity, the realization of the ideas and principles of equality and democracy has elevated by the Government to the highest level of state policy. As a result of today’s discussion in these areas, it is cleasr that a united effort and close cooperation in the interests of our country is unequivocally important for solving the existing tasks.
