Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili Met with the Advisors of OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities

The First Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality has met with the Senior Political Advisor for OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Mr. Marc Fumagalli and Senior Legal Advisor Mr. Laurentiu Hadirca.
Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili provided information on current situation with regard to civil integration, with an emphasis on the activities that are implemented in support of the State Strategy on Civic Equality and Integration and its respective Action Plan for 2015-2020.
The First Deputy State Minister spoke about the teaching of State Language for the representatives of ethnic minorities, access to media and information and the issues of academic expertise. She has also addressed the continued programmes (including “1+4”) that remain successful.
Mr. Marc Fumagalli and Mr. Laurentiu Hadirca expressed willingness for cooperation and awareness for support, noting that Georgia is one of the distinguished partners for them.
The expert, representing the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities, was actively involved into the elaboration of the State Strategy on Civic Equality and Integration and its respective Action Plan for 2015-2020.
