Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili Delivered a Speech at the Peace Conference

The First Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili delivered a speech at the Peace Conference. “Security of Countries in Eastern Europe, Threat of Russian Intervention” was a topic for the panel discussion of the conference.
The First Deputy State Minister delivered information on the situation in the occupied territories of Georgia.
“Peace Conference that takes place today is very important in a sense that it involves many active youngsters from different countries, who are engaged into political and social spheres and express interest towards the issues of conflict, peace and security. We delivered information on implemented reforms, current situation in Georgia and most importantly threats and challenges Georgia and the whole region faces today. We discussed the Russian occupation, unresolved conflicts and challenges in our surroundings. Finally, the main objective is to tackle the challenges that pose a risk to our security through consolidated efforts. Today, the whole European continent needs unity more than ever before,” – Mrs. Tsikhelashvili declared.
The discussion concerned the ways for overcoming the above challenges.
The conference took place under the arrangement of the organization “Young Conservatives of Europe,” attended by the representatives from different countries across Europe.
