On the "Earth Day" the State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili and the employees of the Office together with the representatives of ethnic minorities planted the Colchis willow (which is included in the Red Book) in the Tolerance Square in Tbilisi.

"More women in the peace process means more peace in the world". Such statement the State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili made during the conference „Liberal women in politics and economics”.

“We should unite with peace, reconciliation and forgiveness”, - said the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equity Ketevan Tsikhelashvili in the village of Shindisi, where she paid tribute to the memory heroes, died in the 2008 Russian – Georgia war.

The First Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mr. Petre Kankava during the sitting of the Diaspora and Caucasus Issues Committee introduced Parliamentarians information about the study of state language. He provided the members of Committee with the information about the Georgian language studies to the ethnic minorities

Ketevan Tsikhelashvili offered condolences to the Swedish ambassador, Martina Wide Arcadia because of the terrorist attack in Stockholm.

The First Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mr. Petre Kankava introduced the students of Akhaltsikhe with the programme of internship in the state institutions for persons benefiting from "Georgian Language Educational Program" (1+4 program) The meeting was held at the State University of Samtskhe-Javakheti, with the participation of the students from the “1 + 4 program” from Akhaltsikhe and Akhalkalaki.
