The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili has visited Germany. Mrs. Tsikhelashvili participates at Berlin Foreign Policy Forum.

The Acting State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili delivered a speech at the committee hearing of the Parliament. She delivered information on plans and implemented activates of State Minister’s Office before the members of the committees on human rights and civil integration, legal issues, defense and security and procedural issues.

The Acting State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili has met with Ms. Anna Capello, the Head of Division, Directorate of Political Affairs, Council of Europe. CBM projects (confidence building measures) implemented by the Council of Europe and current situation in occupied territories were discussed at the meeting. According to Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, the Council of Europe has a significant role in peace-building process, noting that initiatives of the Council of Europe support reconciliation and confidence building.

The State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili met with the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairmanship-in-Office on Gender Issues Ambassador Melanne Verveer. The issues of gender and women’s participants were discussed at the meeting.

A multiethnic Art festival “Under One Sky – Intercultural Dialogue” took place in Batumi, on the occasion of the International Day for Tolerance.
