State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili met with the representatives of Danish Refugee Council.

Office of the State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality organized a meeting with school freshers in village Karajala, Telavi Municipality, Kakheti district.

The Temporary Governmental Commission for the Needs of Villages near the Dividing Line held its consecutive session, chaired by the State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili and the Minister for Regional Development and Infrastructure Mr. Nodar Javakhishvili.

The Frist Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mr. Petre Kankava has met with the Human Rights Expert Ms. Megi Nikolson. The expert has visited Georgia on the occasion of USAID-funded program Promoting Rule of Law in Georgia (PROLoG), under the invitation of the joint project of the European Union and United Nations “Human Rights for Everyone.”

The State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili took part into the award ceremony of International Exhibition of Lidice Children’s Artworks. The ceremony took place under the arrangement of the Embassy of Czech Republic to Georgia.

The State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili congratulates 27 October – the Abkhaz Language Day. “The Abkhaz Language Day is equally important for Abkhazian and Georgian communities, as a whole. Abkhaz Language is the State Language, together with Georgian on the territory of Abkhazia and is protected by the Supreme Law of Georgia – the Constitution. This is the dignity which unities us. Our societies still suffer from the burden of tragedy that we all went through. However, we should try to follow the path to reconciliation altogether.

Speaking about the peaceful policy and implemented projects in villages near the dividing line, the State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality addressed the students at Gori State University.

The State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili took part into the opening ceremony of newly-refurbished kindergarten in Village Akhalubani, Gori district. The new building was launched by Mr. Davit Oniashvili, the Head of Gori Municipality and the State Minister.
