In the Resolution adopted on 24 March, the UN Human Rights Council reaffirms its commitment to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia within its internationally recognized borders. The UN Human Rights Council recognizes with appreciation the efforts of the Government of Georgia to strengthen democracy, the rule of law and the promotion and protection of human rights.

 „It is also an important priority for us to strengthen the involvement of women in the peace process and to improve their legal and socio-economic situation. In this regard, in line with our commitments under the UN Security Council Resolutions on Women, Peace and Security, we are implementing a variety of activities, including regular informational meetings with women’s organizations and women living near demarcation lines, as well as raising their awareness of domestic violence and other issues. We plan to systematize such meetings more and further encourage women's participation in trust-building projects“.
